On Friday, December 23rd, when we were in the village of Stara Baldovci distributing clothing for children in the school, we noticed several children outside in the yard, barefoot in the snow. We were surprised that this sight was possible, that they were barefoot and not suitable dressed to withstand the cold.

This year Diaconia Macedonia noted the 20th year since its resumption and 10 years since the establishment of "The Miss Stone Center" in Strumica, together with the project "Meals on Wheels". These two anniversaries we marked with the humanitarian action of distributing clothing in different elementary schools in the Strumica region as well as in schools for children with special needs. |

On December 22, 2011, the new U.S. Ambassador, Mr. Paul Wohlers, accompanied by his associates, visited the United Methodist Church and its social outreach center, the Miss Stone Center, in Strumica, where he was received by the head supervising pastor Mihail Cekov. Pastor Cekov told the Ambassador about the church and its various efforts to help people in need. Ambassador Wohlers had the opportunity to visit three recipients of the Meals on Wheels program in their homes. The Ambassador and his associates enjoyed a delicious lunch of the same food delivered to the Meals on Wheels recipients. The food was prepared and served by the employees of the Miss Stone Center.

This weekend, November 12 - 13, our congregation in Skopje had a visit from a group of young people from our church in Tirana, Albania.
During these two days the young people from both congregations spent time together visiting the city and taking part in the worship service on Sunday morning. We are happy for the opportunity to encourage one another and to praise God. We hope for more meetings like this one.

Each year members of the Anglican Church, British Embassy staff offer food products on the altar which they later donate, along with collected funds, for the needs of the Miss Stone Center in Strumica.
To all of them we give our thanks and wish them God's blessing.

On Monday, the congregation in Monospitovo gathered different food products for the kitchen at the Miss Stone Center in Strumica. This action has taken place for several years in a row. We express our great thanks to them for their gifts.

SEMINAR FOR COWORKERS |

October 1-2, 2011, at the premises of the Miss Stone Center in Strumica, a seminar was held for coworkers of all our church congregations. The seminar was organized by supervising pastor Mihail Cekov, and it was taught by the German Bishop Dr. Walter Klajber.
