From July 10 - 14, 2010, our brother in Christ, Franjo Zhunk, visited our church. During his visit, on Sunday July 11, he participated in worship services, the morning service in Strumica and evening service in Kolesino. He also had an opportunity to meet with young people from Strumica and Kolesino where in the pleasant company of the youth, brother Franjo shared his life experiences in faith, recommending to the youth that when they are honest before God and before themselves, then they are ready to give and to assist the work of God and to be grateful.
The following days he became acquainted with the social outreach of our Church, especially the "Meals on Wheels" project, where he had the opportunity to visit some of the beneficiaries of this project. He also visited the computer project for children with special needs where he was impressed by the efforts of the Church to help such a group of children in order for their lives to be more interesting and for them to more easily fit into modern society. He saw the “Hideaway” project of the youth in Strumica, and he offered to establish contacts between the youth here and the youth group in his congregation in Santa Monica, USA.
Mr. Zhung is 85 years, but he is very lively and ready to help and serve the Lord’s work wherever it is found.
