October 1-2, 2011, at the premises of the Miss Stone Center in Strumica, a seminar was held for coworkers of all our church congregations. The seminar was organized by supervising pastor Mihail Cekov, and it was taught by the German Bishop Dr. Walter Klajber.
Dr. Walter Klajber, a former professor and specialist in the field of the New Testament, covered several chapters in this area. On Saturday, the first day of this seminar, Bishop Dr. Walter Klajber opened the seminar, giving an introduction to the New Testament. During his lecture on Saturday, Dr. Walter Klajber, put an emphasis on a comparisons of what Jesus says in the Gospels.
Sunday began with a worship service held in the church in Strumica; in addition to the seminar participants and the brothers and sisters from the Strumica congregation, brothers and sisters from other congregations who wanted to learn the power of the Gospel, precisely conveyed by the sermon given by Bishop Dr. Walter Klajber, also attended. After the service, seminar participants had the second part of this seminar, where they had the opportunity to learn more about the Epistle of Paul to the Romans.
This seminar was attended by over thirty brothers and sisters from all our congregations who in various ways contribute to the work of our church. It is significant that there was interest among the younger members of our church, and that interest was shown precisely through their active participation in the seminar.
This seminar was very enlightening for all the participants and we hope that these new findings about the Word of God will give them new directions in their thinking and open up new avenues of God's acting among us all. Especially great thanks to the organizers of this seminar, supervising pastor Mihail Cekov, Bishop Dr. Walter Klajber, and all those who gave their contribution in its realization.
We are also grateful to God that He gave us the opportunity to learn and to build on His word.
