On Thursday, December 11, 2008, the «Miss Stone Centre» of the United Methodist Church in Macedonia was awarded with a special prize of the City of Strumica. This prize, which is awarded annually at the «Day of the Holy Fifteen Martyrs of Tiveriopol (-> former name of Strumica)» is honoring the «exceptional services in humanitarian and social terms». Mitko Konev, the director of the «Miss Stone Centre», and United Methodist pastor Mihail Cekov were presented with the badge of honor and the certificate by Mr. Zoran Zaev, mayor of Strumica. |

 На 09.10.2008 година во 14.30ч. во една од салите на Собранието на Република Македонија, Претседателот на Република Македонија Н.Е. г-дин Бранко Црвенковски, на Суперинтендентот Вилхелм Науснер му ја додели ПОВЕЛБАТА НА РЕПУБЛИКА МАКЕДОНИЈА за посебни залуги во хуманитарната активност и за градење пријателство помеѓу Република Македонија и Република Австрија

The youth camp was held from August 4 - 11 in Ohrid. The theme was “Knowing Jesus - a new dynamic/quality in life.” The fifty participants came from all the congregations in Macedonia; there were also guests from Albania and the USA. |

A camp for children with special needs was held this year in Ohrid (June). Ninety children from all over the country participated. For these children the camp means getting to know each other, fellowship, arts and crafts, singing, swimming and having fun. |
